I’m use ubuntu 8:04 for my desktop and i want to install flock browser on my machine using synaptic package manager, this is the step:
First you need to edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file, you can use gedit or another texteditor to edit this file
andrew@wider:~$ sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
add the following lines in your source list
deb http://www.salatti.net/repo/ hardy-salatti main contrib non-free deb-src http://www.salatti.net/repo/ hardy-salatti main contrib non-free
save and exit the file.
Update the sourcelist using the following command
andrew@wider:~$ sudo aptitude update
And install Flock using the following command
andrew@wider:~$ sudo aptitude install flock
