Today i have assignment to create interactive CD journal based on opensource, it’s mean linux for based operating system. the requirement of this application is the CD’s could auto play and then showing front content of interactive pages.hmmm.. i thought the simply way to create this project based on HTML, but the client need more interactive and atractive animation on it.
after read review on newest Ubuntu studio tool and packages, i find the synfig studio. once of several opensource application to create 2D animation, this is the explanation about synfigstudio

The newest version of synfigstudio is 0.61.09, you should check to get the newest version in here. ubuntu including synfigstudio on the packages, you can install it from synaptic or type on terminal/consol

andrew@wider:~$ sudo apt-get install synfigstudio

aftter finish the installation process, launch the application by access from Application >> Graphics >> Synfigstudio..and then ihave the error, this application maybe crash on librarry in my ubuntu 9.04.. this is the errorr message..

andrew@wider:~$ synfigstudio

synfig studio -- starting up application...

Segmentation fault..


Asking to Mr.Google, i find the information about bug in synfigstudio in Jaunty..hmm, After read the solution and experience another member in ubuntu forum i get the binnaries application of synfigstudio.this is the links:

http://download.tuxfamily.org/morevna/morevnapackage/binaries/

i choose the i386 and downloaded it to My disk using wget

andrew@wider:~$ wget -c http://download.tuxfamily.org/morevna/morevnapackage/binaries/synfigstudio_0.61.09-2376.morevnapackage.1_i386.deb

and then install the binnaries package

andrew@wider:~$ sudo dpkg -i synfigstudio_0.61.09-2376.morevnapackage.1_i386.deb

alhamdulilah the installation complete, it’s time to create 2d animation to build interactive CD..
Application >> Graphics >> Synfigstudio
