Today I have assignment to make online form survey, it called tracer study online. This system will collect the feedback from the alumni was use the previous curriculum, the result will be use to arrange the next curriculum, in another side this online form will available for three grade, there are graduated, post graduated and doctoral grade. This form need more function like conditional question and multiple choice, the past I used to manual code to build the page and create the databases manually, and the system is not reliable for the next development or if the form need more question adding to this page.

There are many content management system available to doing the online polling form, but the good system there are not granted to be download and setup the system in local machine, we must register and create the account in their server, yeah..this is not secure to submit our data to unknown organization, I think I must looking for the content management system to cover this system, I found the Limesurvey, this is opensource online polling system that allow user to setup the system in local machine with GPL license, it’s awesome and support to create conditional question and process the result, but I have some problem with the libraries in hosting server, this system require phpmbstring to install this system, it will difficult to add the libraries according the statement of hosting sysadmin, so I must find another way to build the robust system to covering it.

I like to used drupal content management framework to build this system, drupal is opensource content management system that there are available many modules according the system requirement, I prefer use drupal because the easy configuration and available documentation from the community, I used drupal 6.x for this tracer study and this is the modules that I install

3. Webform conditional
4. Webform report
5. IMCE
6. ubuntu drupal themes for default base themes
