The 2nd browser is opera, it’s old player browser, the first experience used this browser, idid’t like to used is, i have many reason to avoid this browser:

css randering is not better than mozilla, (it’s ini older version of opera as i used to)
Adobe/Macromedia flash player cannot run as well
Minimum web developer tool (like firebug and webdeloper on mozilla)
Scrapbook facilities, and save page as complete web

Since opera 9.5 version, i’m gradually love this browser, it’s faster than my previous browser, rarely error if we open many tabs on one window, the development of good css randering and flash player compatibility make me choose this browser to my default browser application on my PC, we know about the New Generation of browser, there’re developed by goole, it’s Google chrome, this’s combine the benefits from another browser to giving birth the new generation browser, today the linux version of google chrome is not currently available, maybe in 2009 we can take part to use the new browser technology. In another side, we can use the complete multimedia and social networking browser, the name is flock browser, it’s support the social networking, it’s current popularity now, i have been used flock browser for my daily internet explore and another social networking, but i do not feel comfortable with this browser, it’s about memory consumption and consideration of the use of facilities that are less appropriate.

LInuxmint Daryna yang sudah lama terinstall itu sepertinya sudah minta diganti, setiap kali mencolokkan flashdisk harus mounting manual, itu juga salah satu kesulitan yang dihadapi adikku. Konfigurasi fstabnya sudah banyak aku rubahdiantaranya penulisan mount device tanpa uid, penambahan mount point untuk disk fat32 dengan vfat.
Pingin menggunakan linux yang baru saja katanya…iya, ok, siap..tak burningin linuxmint terbaru versi 5.o rc.1 dengan nama Elyssa yang akan menggantikan Daryna. Partisi seelumnya aku format dengan format resiserfs journalling system, kemudian aku minta adiku sendiri yang install, biar ngerti sekalian bagaimana caranya..:P. My Linux Studioworks desktop, Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, using Gnome for default desktop manager. I’ve had very good time with this distribution so far. I tried quite a few distros before ending up using Ubuntu version before it. I can say this is the best match distro for my hardware.

Aku ga akan bahas bagaimana cara menggunakan quickcode, tapi alternatif yang paling mudah yang bisa aku lakukan saat menuliskan kode program. VIM adalah editor yang biasa digunakan dilingkungan kerja *nix, dan menurut penggunanya vim ini editor yang powerfull. Terpaksa juga aku tempuh jalan ini, tapi dengan strategi yang lain, ngeprint aja langsung dari leptop”blackbox”ku kan ga perlu mindahin file dan terinfeksi virus win$.
Pas dateng di rentalan komputer, sepi pengunjung kekawatiran mengenai antrian hilang. Komputer rental yang notabene adalah win$ biasa digunakan untuk mengetik sudah dilengkapi dengan fasilitas sharing file dan printer.
Sharing file di win$ cuma cukup klik kanan > sahred this folder atau printer, dengan asumsi bahwa server dan klien sudah bisa berkomunikasi alias diset ip nya denga benar. Misalkan kita ingin mensharing printer dari server ke klien, setelah server diset untuk sharing dibagian klien dapat langsung melakukan aktivitas printing dengan memilih jenis printer yang digunakan.
Permasalahan yang aku hadapi saat ini adalah aku memakai ubuntu 8.04 (hardy Heron) yang akan ngeprint secara sharing di server win$xp. secara teori sudah pernah aku praktekkan sebelumnya, sharing printer dan file di lab.
Sharing file printer linux dengan win$ biasa digunakan fasilitas samba, di blackbox ku dah terinstall servis samba. setelah setting ip local, berikutnya mengecek apakah printer yang disharing oleh server dapat terbaca:

printer yang disharing oelh server terbaca oleh mesinku, di terminal dapat dilihat nama printer yang kebetulan HP1020 yang sudah tersedia drivernya di ubuntu default. cara lain untuk mendeteksi printer adalah lewat nautilus (file manager gnome) bagi pengguna kde bisa menggunakan konqueror atau dolphin(kde4) dengan mengetikkan di bagian location:

setelah printer di bagian server terbaca di mesin kita, tinggal di add printer aja. dengan cara seperti biasa.:p
